In 1988 he was inducted into the Professional Picture Framer's Hall of Fame and has served on the Associations Faculty.  Mr. Gottfredson has authored two picture framing books and has contributed as a technical writer for the national trade publication Decor Magazine.

On January 31, 2008 , Mr Gottfredson became the world's 50th

Master Certified Professional Framer.
